A remarkable process that preserves the firm texture, Snowy Whiteness and Rich flavor of fresh mushrooms for up to 3 months. Not only no trim waste, but the 30% shrinkage that occurs when fresh mushrooms are cooked has already been taken. Net drained weight is all usable.

Whole Blanched Mushrooms

Same as the Sliced Blanched Mushrooms, but in the whole format. Available in Buttons or Regular Whole Mushrooms. When refrigerated at 35 degrees fahrenheit, Blanched Mushrooms will stay delicious, fully white and firm textured for up to 90 days.

Blend Ability of Mushrooms

At Ubbelea, during the slicing process, we accumulate bits and pieces of mushrooms, or a product known in the industry as the “Ears of the mushrooms”. This product is great for further Processors and Restaurants, and can be used for a wide range of products such as:

  • Infusing into a Chicken Breast
  • Soups and Sauces and Gravies
  • Blending with Ground beef (Acts like a protein substitute, and reduces fat intake)
  • Puree for dips and dressings
  • Casseroles
  • Quiche

No other food can be used in so many ways, while bringing flavor and nutrition to the plate. Blending really plays on mushrooms’ compatibility with meat in terms of taste and texture. What other product can you add to Ground beef, which takes on the flavor and texture of ground beef, and provides a reduced fat substitute! Mushrooblend ability of mushrooms ms deliver a savory, earthy taste because of their umami. They’re naturally low in calories, fat-free and cholesterol-free and provide important nutrients like vitamin D, B vitamins, antioxidants and potassium.

Mixing mushrooms into the recipe brings another serving of vegetables to the plate and adds bulk and volume, generating more servings and stretching recipes into more portions.
